Dmytro Gnativ is a flutist and educator whose musical journey began at the age of eight when he started attending the local conservatory in Sambir, Ukraine, for flute and piano lessons with Ihor Fedorenko and Natalia Moskalenko. Later, he pursued his studies at the Lviv State Music College with Liliana Stadnyk and at the Lviv National Music Academy with Andriy Karpiak, where he obtained a bachelor's degree. He pursued a master’s degree at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, studying under the mentorship of Dr. Jennifer Grim.

The Queen’s Cartoonists perform music from cartoons! Pulling from over 100 years of animation from around the world, The Queen’s Cartoonists bring animated films to life, perfectly synchronizing their performances with the films projected on stage. The band matches the energy of the cartoons, leading the audience through a world of virtuosic musicianship, multi-instrumental mayhem and comedy.

Two Midwestern straight arrows, an effervescent Texan and a stylish Hong Kong urbanite are bound together by a sincere and straightforward love of music as the Colere Quartet. Gold medalists of the 2020 Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition and first-prize winners of the 2019 Plowman Chamber Music Competition, the members of Colere strive for purity of sound and flexibility of style and they awaken the sensibilities of their audiences to the magic of classical and contemporary music.

Founders Recital Hall
Beginning in 1978, the Dakota String Quartet presented concerts and workshops throughout a five-state region, making strings “a natural resource” for our state. The diverse backgrounds of the Dakota String Quartet magically meld and create a superior ensemble. The majority of the ensemble’s time is spent on tour, performing at concert halls, colleges, community centers and public schools. Through their individual roles as string principals in the South Dakota Symphony Orchestra, they bring music enrichment and leadership to people of all ages.
