Use one card campus-wide! Your MyJacks card is a vital part of your life as a Jackrabbit! The Card Services Office issues the MyJacks card, which is the official identification and access card for students, faculty and staff at South Dakota State University. Looking for a convenient and secure way to manage funds once you come to campus? Hobo Dough — a prepaid, stored-value account that is part of your MyJacks Card — is the convenient, cashless way to pay for your purchases on and off campus. Some of the area's most popular local businesses accept Hobo Dough, and you can use this card to pay for school supplies, buy meals at restaurants and more. You can deposit money into Hobo Dough in a number of easy ways, including online, the load stations on campus or by mail. Keep in mind, though, that your MyJacks Card does not work like an ATM/debit card, which means once you add money you can't withdraw it as cash. Hobo Dough balances roll over each term/year and the card remains active as long as you are a registered student or current faculty/staff member. Contact Residential Life or Dining for questions on meal plans or housing.
