Swipe Out Hunger at South Dakota State University is a food insecurity program for students to use at Larson Commons.
Swipe Out Hunger for the Fall 2024 semester is now closed and will reopen for the Spring 2025 Semester.
Larson Commons is closed for the semester break and will resume normal operation hours when the spring semester classes resume.
How to Apply
- Students experiencing food insecurity can request meals by submitting a meal block request application.
- Applications are reviewed by SDSU's Swipe out Hunger team. Upon approval, meal swipes are added to the student's account and the student is notified via email.
- Students who receive Swipe Out Hunger meal swipes can use them until the end of the semester at Larson Commons.
