Accessing the Housing Application
What do I need to get started?
- Access to your SDSU MyState account.
- A way to pay the $75 confirmation fee.
It's my first time using MyState. What do I need to know?
To begin activating your account, follow the directions under Technology Talk in MyState. You will need your SDSU student ID number for this process. It was sent to you via email and in your admission letter upon your acceptance.
I'm logged into MyState. What now?
Apply by going to your MyState Dashboard, finding the "Forms" section, and selecting the form "University Housing Application."
What if I need to cancel my application?
See below for directions on how to cancel and our cancellation policy:
To cancel your housing application sign into your housing application on MyState and click the "Cancel Application" button. You can also email our office with your intent to cancel.
Cancellation policy:
- If your application is canceled on or before May 31, your $75 confirmation fee will be refunded to you.
- If your application is canceled between June 1 and July 31, your $75 confirmation fee will be forfeited.
- If your application is canceled on or after August 1 through the date of 60% completion of the current semester, your $75 confirmation fee is forfeited and you will be charged a $200 early termination fee.
