Academic Accommodations

The Office of Disability Services assists students with a wide range of disabilities. To pursue access to academic accommodations, students must complete the student information form and provide current documentation of disability.

*If you need assistance filling out the Student Information Form, please contact the Office of Disability Services.

Some accommodations that can be provided:

  • Accommodations for exams such as time extensions, testing in distraction-reduced environments and/or screen readers.
  • Alternative text formats.
  • Sign language interpreters.
  • Referrals to other resources.

Academic accommodations are determined by an interactive process. The Office of Disability Services and the student will determine reasonable accommodations. After the student submits the necessary forms and documentation, and accommodations are determined, they do not need to submit the forms again each semester. However, students need to contact the Office of Disability Services at the start of each semester to request that their accommodations be implemented.
