The Ness School of Management and Economics prides itself on providing excellent academic programs, but we also strive to offer high-quality services to our students outside the classroom. We awarded almost $35,000 in scholarships and prizes to students. Dozens of students earned college credit while acquiring hands-on experience through an internship, and dozens more participated in one of our seven student clubs. Most importantly, our graduates moved into promising careers in an assortment of industries.
SDState students have the opportunity to compete in a number of events in our state and around the country. These are some of the competitions we have been involved in lately:
- Startup Weekend
- Retail Innovation
- Business Plan Competition
- Quinnipiac G.A.M.E. Forum
- Society for Human Resource Management Case Competitions
- National Agri-Marketing Association Student Marketing Competition
- International Food and Agribusiness Management Association Global Forum Case Study Competition
