SDSU Students at NAMA conference

NAMA Club

A nationwide organization, the National Agri-Marketing Association (NAMA) consists of 24 local professional chapters of agri-marketing professionals with more than 3,000 professional and student members. NAMA has student chapters with 1,300+ members from over 30 chapters at leading universities and colleges, comprising an important part of NAMA’s membership.

The Ness School of Management and Economics has established an SDSU-recognized student chapter of NAMA. The sponsoring professional chapter is the Northern Prairie Chapter out of North Dakota.

The chapter consists of student leaders who attend regularly scheduled monthly meetings. The student chapter focuses on programming, attendance/involvement from members, membership growth, special projects and fundraising.

The student members and the faculty advisor attend the annual NAMA conference each spring and participate in the Student Chapter Marketing Competition. SDSU's chapter will also be eligible for the multiple awards, plaques and stipends presented at the Annual National Conference.
