Honors Courses in Biology and Microbiology

Honors courses offer a stimulating learning environment in smaller class setting where you will be challenged to dig deeper and into the fascinating world of modern biology. All five foundational courses required for majors in the department are offered as honors courses. While taking the full series will result in a highly enriching experience, honors courses are not prerequisites for the following course so that each of these honors courses may be taken individually. We also offer Human Anatomy honors and a rich selection of undergraduate research opportunities.
