Sport Clubs and Intramurals
Sport Clubs
Sports Clubs are student led organizations that bridge the gap between intramural and intercollegiate athletics by providing competition at specialized levels, participation in tournaments and opportunities to practice. The Sports Club program emphasizes leadership, learning, and personal development, and is a great way to stay active and meet students with similar interests on campus.
Sports Clubs are open to all South Dakota State University students and does not discriminate on the basis of gender identity. Students are allowed to participate based on their stated gender identity.
Intramural Sports
The Intramural Sports offer a variety of experiences for students and Wellness Center members including individual, dual, and team events, and include opportunities for men, women, and co-recreational teams. Participation can provide opportunities to have fun, learn new sports, meet people from other cultures, as well as offer a break from routine.
All individuals are permitted and encouraged to participate in the South Dakota State University Intramural Program consistent with their gender identity.
