Recycling has many benefits to the environment, such as using less energy when processing materials, producing less pollution and reusing resources.
Recycling occurs in a continuous loop: items are recycled, made in to new products and purchased by consumers who use the product and then recycle it. The item is then made into a new product and bought by another consumer. All three steps of the loop are essential to the overall positive effect of recycling.
