BluePrint Student Pricing

Large Format

Custom prints can be ordered for production from BluePrint. Prices are determined by paper type and total square inches required of the print. Additional fees may be applied depending on the scope of project. Design fees are not included. Any additional fees needed to complete a project will be relayed to the customer before printing. For all print orders, please allow at least a two day lead time for the print to be completed.

Campus Advertising

As the building maintains a variety of essential services and amenities (campus programming, career development, event services, campus dining, bookstore etc.) core to the University experience, we, on average, are the most highly trafficked building on campus. We regularly see 1,000,000+ visitors each academic year, which further breaks down to an average of 31,000+ visitors/week and 4,500+ visitors/day. By choosing to advertise inside the USU you will have the greatest chance of reaching the students seeking your services.

Digital Advertising

Equipped with 25 digital displays strategically placed throughout the facility, your advertisement will be seen. The USU offers 16 bookable ad spots, with 4 spots relegated toward community promotion. Ads will play for 15 seconds at a time and once per four-minute loop for around 1,000+ impressions served per week per screen.

Digital Student Organization Ad

Free. This service is a general digital template for all recognized student organizations. This ad can be used to advertise a weekly meeting time or a generic advertisement for your organization. This ad cannot be used for specific events. Content for this ad can be the following: a picture, group name, contact information, and/or weekly meeting date/time. Provide BluePrint with this information and we will do the rest.

Print Advertising

Anyone choosing to forego a bundle package listed below, may reserve one of our locations at our standard custom printing prices. The fees below would include both printing and hanging within the University Student Union. In order to maintain quality control over the content we promote, all BluePrint advertising location content must be designed by BluePrint staff and the design fees are estimated when an order is placed. All reserved locations will hang for 7 days at a time, with the exception of the exterior t-stands, which are single day reservations intended for day of event advertising.

Recycled banners and T-stands

BluePrint offers discounted rates for its reservable advertising locations. Any banners or t-stands that do not have specific dates or are running multiple weeks, will be charged a recycled rate for each additional week passed the original run. If you are interested in reusing an advertisement ask a BluePrint employee about the options listed below.

BluePrint Advertising Bundles

Below are the featured bundles BluePrint offers for our design and advertising services. Each bundle offers commonly requested services at discounted rates. All reserved locations will display or hang for seven days at a time. The bundle fees include everything listed within and cannot be modified or combined with other bundles for further discounts. Only one bundle may be chosen per event, but this does not prohibit a client from ordering additional, non-bundled services from BluePrint. Any intricate designs that will require more hours than the included amount, will be assessed a design fee for time after the initial amount. A seven-business day lead time is required to complete all designs to avoid rush processing fees. If you do not choose a bundle to advertise with, you can choose from our services individually, but there will not be a discount applied.

Price includes printing and processing. Design fees not included. Additional fees may be applied.

Business cards

BluePrint can design and print business cards. Cards will be a standard 3.5”x2” printed on basic cover stock. Customers have the option to bring in predesigned cards or have BluePrint design them for a design fee. If a customer chooses to bring in their own design, please ensure it is at the correct dimensions. Any files requiring more than 15 minutes to adjust will incur an editing fee of $5.

Additional Fees

Each project will be assessed by BluePrint staff and any additional fee may be applied. Client will be notified of additional fees before project is begun. A seven business day lead time is required to complete all designs to avoid rush processing fees. If you have any questions on potential fees, please speak with a BluePrint employee for further explanation.

Design Fee

A standard fee of $15/hour will be charged to all standard design projects. A minimum of one hour will be assessed on any design. This will be based on total time to complete all designs associated with a client order from inception to final client approval. Time will only be tracked on actual design process, not print or email correspondence time. BluePrint staff can estimate the time to complete a project, but final hours may vary. A final, total time, will be assessed, upon the final approval of the project by the client. BluePrint attains the rights to any original designs created by our designers. Customers may retain original working files for an additional $20 filing fee.

Editing Fee

To edit an existing design after its initial approval, an additional fee of $12.50 will be charged. These include, but are not limited to, multiple resizes, color changes and text edits. Excessive edits may result in a design fee charge.

Grommets

For any project requiring grommets a fee of $0.50/grommet will be applied. Additionally, please note where you would like the grommets placed on your final printed piece. 

Rush Processing Fee

Orders requiring design placed under our seven-business day lead time will be charged $21/hr for design work.

Cancellation Fee

A fee of $15 will be assessed if an organization reserves a space and cancels within seven days of the hang date. If design work and/or printing has been approved and completed, the client will still be charged for those services in addition to the cancellation fee.

Mounting Fee

A $17.50 mounting fee includes adhering printed product to white foam core board with a maximum size of 29” x 39”.  

Recycled Mounting Fee

If you have previously mounted a project and wish to reuse the board or bring your own black matte board, the mounting fee is $12.50.

Filing Fee

If the client wishes to have the original design files for their own use, it will be a $20 fee. The client will be given all working files for editing and printing at their own discretion.

Bulk Cutting, Folding and Binding

Cutting will be based on total page count and folding and binding will be based on total pieces folded or bound.
