Worried someone I know may commit a violence against another
If you suspect that someone you know may commit violence against another person, it is important to report this information to the University Police Department immediately. Even if you are unsure of the target of the violence, this information is important. This can include if someone you know has access to or is storing weapons on campus.
If you think that someone else on campus might be in danger, please report this information to the police immediately. You can contact the UPD 24 hours a day, year-round. Even if you are unsure of the level of danger involved, it is best to let a trained police officer decide whether or not action is necessary. UPD can also let you know what other resources are available on campus to assist the person who is potentially in danger.
