Our goal with the CPETE New Faculty Onboarding Program is to provide you a comprehensive set of resources, located in a central on-demand location, that can easily be referred to as you begin your career at SDSU or as questions arise later in your career as a Jackrabbit. In order to help you navigate the start of your career at South Dakota State University the SDSU Faculty and Extension Personnel Professional Development Committee, supported by the Center for Professional Enrichment and Teaching Excellence, has developed a comprehensive “Faculty Onboarding Checklist”. This checklist should be reviewed and discussed with your department head periodically during your first year at SDSU to ensure a successful transition to the university.
