Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990, students with documented disabilities are eligible to test with special accommodations. The staff at the Testing Center is able to administer exams with special accommodations on campus in the Testing Center or using Zoom.
Students interested in receiving accommodations, must first contact the Coordinator of Disability Services at 605-688-4504. The Disability Services office is located in the University Student Union, Room SSU 271. Documentation of a disability must be provided to and approved by the Disability Services Office before testing arrangements can be made.
Once accommodations are approved, testing appointments are made with the Testing Center through RegisterBlast. Appointments must be made 24 hours before the requested testing time to ensure exams are available for your test appointment.
A physical photo ID must be presented before an exam will be administered. Digital ID's will not be accepted. All test candidates must agree to follow SDSU's standards of academic conduct found in the Student Academic Misconduct and Academic Appeals policy.
