Abstract

The South Dakota Humanities Council is a statewide non-profit that promotes and supports the exchange of ideas to foster a thoughtful and engaged society. The records are composed of correspondence, publications, minutes and materials related to meetings, financial records, material related to the South Dakota Humanities Foundation, projects and research, grant proposals submitted to the council and material related to the Speakers Bureau and the Reading Series, the National Endowment for the Humanities.
