Multi-Term Registration FAQ
What is multi-term registration?
Multiple term registration allows students to register for an entire academic year at one time.
Do I have to register for Fall and Spring terms at one time?
No, you are not required to register for both terms. You can register for any of the open terms.
Do I need to register for Fall term before I register for Spring term?
It is not required, but registering for Fall term first is highly recommended as it will allow you to meet any prerequisite requirements needed for a later term.
Can I register for a Spring 2025 course if I won't complete a prerequisite until Fall 2024?
Yes, once you register for prerequisite courses for Fall 2017, WebAdvisor will allow you to register for Spring 2018 courses.
In WebAdvisor, can I search for class sections for more than one term at once?
WebAdvisor's Search for Class Sections allows you to select one term at a time or you can enter a date range not to exceed 365 days. However, using dates rather than a term search results in a slow response time.
Do I have to pay for all the terms at once?
No, payment dates for future terms do not change.
Do I need to see my advisor every term?
At this time, undergraduate students are required to meet with their advisor every term to assure they are on track for degree progress.
