Eli Cole, a senior majoring in music education, will present his senior recital at 4 p.m. Sunday, April 28, in the Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center’s Founders Recital Hall on the South Dakota State University campus.
The percussionist from Marshall, Minnesota, will perform works by composers Brett Dietz, Gene Koshinski, N.J. Zivkovic, Matthias Schmitt, Andrea Venet, Charles Owen and Ralph Hicks.
He will be assisted by students Jesse Dodd, Teo Nilson and Josh Howard and the SDSU Percussion Ensemble. Cole’s primary instructor is Aaron Ragsdale.
While at SDSU, Cole has participated in Percussion Ensemble, SDSU Wind Symphony and The Pride of the Dakotas Marching Band.
