Biography

Dr. Roman Waldera is an instructor within the SDSU physical education teacher education program responsible for teaching courses relating to athletics coaching, exercise science, motor learning, adapted physical education, physical education lifetime activities and professionalism, ethics and law in physical education. Waldera also serves as a co-instructor of the students completing their student teaching in physical education.

Dr. Waldera maintains an active research agenda that focuses on various areas in physical education and sport such as youth activity and fitness levels, ADHD and physical activity, emotional intelligence, and youth sport coach attitudes. Additionally, Dr. Waldera has published within the field of exercise science, primarily focusing on resistance training and sport biomechanics.
