Biography
I have been with South Dakota State University Extension as a range field specialist since October 2012. I specialize in range, pasture and grassland management with an emphasis on educating producers about how profitability and ecological balance are complimentary. Focus areas/areas of interest also include alternative grassland management tools such as fire, biological control, controlled grazing and reduction of artificial chemical inputs for systems health. Prior to South Dakota State University, I was a land manager for The Nature Conservancy for their southwest Minnesota and Eastern South Dakota programs.If you would like my CV or more information, please feel free to contact me at my SDState email address noted above.
