Biography

Dr. Reineke joined SDSU in 2015. He teaches in both the pharmacy professional program and the pharmaceutical sciences graduate program in the areas of pharmacokinetics, drug delivery, polymer science and coordinates the graduate student seminar course and department seminar series. His research integrates expertise in materials science, drug delivery and pharmacokinetics to develop novel models and assays for translating nanomedicines into clinical use. His current areas of focus are in pancreatic cancer, tuberculosis infections, and cancer metastasis. Dr. Reineke is the faculty advisor to the SDSU student chapter of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
