Biography
Dr. Kappes teaches in the areas of internal medicine and critical care. John received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from South Dakota State University and completed a PGY1 pharmacy residency at Aurora Health Care (Milwaukee, Wisconsin) and a PGY2 critical care pharmacy residency at Avera McKennan (Sioux Falls). John is also a clinical pharmacist at Monument Health Rapid City Hospital where he primarily practices in the ICU. He is the PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy Residency Program director for Monument Health. John is a board-certified critical care pharmacist. His area of research interests are critical care and cardiology.Education
