Biography

Dr. Akram Jawdhari is currently an assistant professor at South Dakota State University (SDSU) and a licensed Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) in Ontario, Canada. His research interests cover a range of topics in structural engineering, with a primary focus on developing smart, cost-effective and sustainable rehabilitation techniques for the aging infrastructure. He also specializes on computational mechanics and finite element techniques that can be used as cost-effective and efficient alternatives to otherwise costly and time consuming physical experiments.
