The 2024 Annual Meeting and Symposium on the Science and Engineering for Biobased Industries and Economy will be taking place at South Dakota State University (SDSU) in Brookings and is hosted by he USDA NIFA Multi-state Project (S1075) committee and SDSU Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering department.

- Experiment Station Annual Reports and Technical Presentations: update the latest progresses and explore the newest research and advancements in science and engineering for biobased industries and economy through technical presentations by experiment stations’ representatives, academic scholars, industry experts and professionals across the country.
- Industry Updates: stay informed about the latest trends, innovations, and developments shaping the biobased industries and economy landscape with insightful industry updates.
- Student travel awards and poster competition: an NSF travel grant is applied to support students to attend the S1075 Annual Meeting and Symposium. All students will present their posters in the meeting on July 25. Five super posters will be selected from the posters for awards and certificates.
- Greetings and Social Networking: Connect with fellow professionals, colleagues, and leaders in the fields during networking sessions and meetings designed to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange.
