After nearly two years of construction, the POET Bioproducts Center has officially opened its doors to the region's leading bioprocessing scientists. SDSU nursing students teach kids healthy summer habits at zoo

A group of 37 South Dakota State University nursing students promoted healthy summer habits by holding a health fair at the Great Plains Zoo on June 16. The event, which offered the zoo’s youngest visitors lessons in water safety, sun protection and physical activity, served as pediatric clinical experience for the SDSU students.

Three attractions on the South Dakota State University campus have made the cut in the South Dakota Department of Tourism’s listing of 2022 South Dakota Great Places. Among this year’s designees recognized for outstanding hospitality and customer service are McCrory Gardens, the South Dakota Agricultural Heritage Museum and the South Dakota Art Museum.

3D Center named in honor of Haarberg family

South Dakota State University’s College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Professions’ 3D Center now has a new namesake—the Haarberg Center for Drug, Disease and Delivery Research, thanks to a transformational $1.1 million gift from Kevin and Lorie Haarberg.
