SDSU recognized with Gladys Pyle Award for voter registration
South Dakota State University received the Gladys Pyle Award for efforts in young voter registration from South Dakota Secretary of State Monae Johnson on Sept. 30. The award reflects voter registration efforts by many on campus including the School of American and Global Studies, the Office of Multicultural Affairs and Accessibility and the Diversity in Athletics Council.
South Dakota State honors newest endowment holders
South Dakota State University recently paid tribute to the university’s newest endowment holders. The third annual University Leadership Honors investiture ceremony — honoring six holders of endowed positions across three different colleges and SDSU Athletics — was held Sept. 19 in Founders Recital Hall in the Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center.

SDSU shatters enrollment records, climbs to more than 12,000 students
A record first-year class and record retention moved enrollment at South Dakota State University to 12,065 students for the fall 2024 semester, the highest enrollment at SDSU since 2018. Enrollment figures were released earlier today by the South Dakota Board of Regents.
Hendricks honored as David Adams Scholastic Journalism Division Educator of the Year
