South Dakota State University was the top-ranked public institution in GradReports’ 2021 Best Colleges in South Dakota by Salary Score. In addition, SDSU’s 52.31 Salary Score is higher than the median for all U.S. colleges.
SDSU moving forward to offer bachelor's degree in concrete industry management
South Dakota State University’s Jerome J. Lohr College of Engineering will soon offer a bachelor’s degree in concrete industry management. The degree announcement comes after the CIM National Steering Committee and the North Central Region patrons selected SDSU after an approximate six-month selection process.

New Center of Excellence to Advance Bison Research, Knowledge

Anand receives 2020 International Dairy Foods Association Research Award in Dairy Foods Processing

The IDFA is the sponsor of this ADSA award, which Anand said is the highest research award given in the discipline. Anand was also recognized for his excellence in the classroom with the 2018 IDFA Teaching Award.

Valeriah Big Eagle, a member of the South Dakota State University College of Nursing, has been chosen as one of 24 recipients for a prestigious Bush fellowship by the St. Paul, Minnesota-based foundation.
