2024 Ceremony Quick Facts
Location: Dacotah Bank Center is located at 824 32nd Ave., Brookings. Formerly known as the Swiftel Center.
Doors: Doors for guests will open for ticket scanning ONE hour prior to each ceremony.
Clear Bag: The Dacotah Bank Center adheres to a strict clear bag policy. Please plan accordingly as guests will not be allowed entrance without. More clear bag information.
Tickets: Graduates will receive SIX tickets for their guests. Tickets are managed through Ticketmaster with a special access code distributed to each graduate. Graduates are encouraged to download and transfer tickets prior to arriving at the Dacotah Bank Center. More ticket information.
Parking and Traffic: Guests should access the Dacotah Bank Center from the south and will be asked to exit to the north. Parking will be on a first-come, first-serve basis with parking attendants to help guide you to the open lots. More parking information.
2024 Spring Ceremonies
Graduation ceremonies for the Class of 2024 will be held May 4, 2024 at the Dacotah Bank Center in Brookings, South Dakota. The move from campus is due to the construction in Frost Arena as that facility continues its transformation into First Bank & Trust Arena during the next six months.
Graduates, associate through doctoral degrees, will walk with their respective colleges at the following times:
- 10 a.m. – College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences and the Jerome J. Lohr College of Engineering.
- 2 p.m. – College of Education and Human Sciences and the College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Professions.
- 6 p.m. – College of Nursing, College of Natural Sciences and the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.
Each ceremony will be ticketed based on capacity, and graduates will receive up to six tickets apiece for their guests.
