Clair Lambert is a pillar of support for South Dakota 4-H. Lambert served as president of the South Dakota 4-H Volunteer Leaders Association in 1988-89, and has also served on the State 4-H Advisory Committee. He co-chaired the 1993 North Central 4-H Leaders Forum in Sioux Falls. He also served on the State Extension Advisory Board.
He helped raise money for the South Dakota 4-H Foundation, and played a role in Camp Lakodia's 50th anniversary. He also served as a member of the Artesian School Board and on the Township Board. Clair and his wife Phyllis have seven children.
