The Miller Wellness Center is one of just a few facilities in the nation with a gym, health clinic, counseling services and pharmacy all under one roof on a college campus. The $12.1-million, 74,000-square-foot facility was unveiled for students Aug. 31, 2008.

The Miller Wellness Center houses:
Fitness and Recreation
Open to students and dues-paying community members, visitors can choose from various machines and free weights for exercise. There is also a functional fitness space covered in turf for weightlifting and CrossFit training.
There are three courts for basketball and three multi-activity courts for volleyball, soccer, floor hockey, pickleball, batting cages and other activities. Nearby are two racquetball courts.
The campus community can use the outdoor program space, which has equipment available for rent. Biking, fishing and rock-climbing equipment are available for checkout. Paddle boards, tents, sleds, skis, hammocks, yard games and more are also available.
A suspended, three-lane indoor track overlooks the Miller Wellness Center along with an indoor rock-climbing wall and three fitness studios. Group fitness classes are included with each membership.
Student Health Clinic and Counseling Services
The Student Health Clinic offers primary care, reproductive health, immunization and laboratory services. If students are feeling ill, need a health exam or minor procedure, they can make an appointment. There are nine rooms where personal and confidential counseling services are available to students. Students can schedule appointments through the Jackrabbits Health Clinic and Counseling Portal on MyState or by calling the clinic.
