The Vivarium offers a variety of research support services. We can assist investigators and support staff with any questions associated with managing an animal project such as budget planning, billing inquiries and study design. Fiscal Year is from July through June. Ex. FY22 is July 1, 2021 until June 30, 2022.
Researchers are encouraged to visit with the Vivarium Management to go over budgetary numbers when writing grants for future projects. An anticipated 3-5% increase can be expected annually. In addition to this researchers are encouraged to add a 10% for unanticipated expenses to their grants.
