Instructional Design Services serves the SDSU community and fulfills many roles throughout the decades of its operation. Firm commitment to support, development and service has driven IDS to follow a vision. This desire for excellence leads to innovation and leadership. The goal of IDS is to support the instructional, research, institutional and service missions of the university.
Through the promotion of contemporary, cutting edge technologies, IDS provides students, faculty and staff universal access and guidance to worldwide electronic resources. Development and access to institutionally developed instructional and informational resources help poise SDSU to be eLearning leader in education.
IDS helps faculty, staff and GTAs:
- Design, develop, evaluate and teach effective face-to-face, hybrid and online courses.
- Apply current research and best practices on eLearning and innovative teaching technologies that support the goals of the university.
- Gain the knowledge and training needed for university eLearning applications.
